The NTSCP Young Advisors are a group of young people who come together to work on projects that are important to them and will help to improve the lives of children and young people across North Tyneside.
The aim
Our aim is for a group of young people to come together to use their unique experiences, skills and knowledge about life for young people in the borough to work with us to influence planning and decision making in relation to safeguarding our children and young people.
Who are Young Advisors?
Young Advisors are young people aged 11 – 24 who live in North Tyneside. Young Advisors will engage with staff from NTSCP agencies and other young people to promote and help shape safeguarding for children and young people and other issues that matter to them to help keep them safe. This will be fed back to services to better inform their plans/delivery.
